You know something must be wrong, when the only thing keeping you from going crazy is a little café, and a Pastél de Nata. Maybe I'm in the right place... After all [even when I miss my cantinho no céu] I know there are always things "para matar a saudade"... The blogs, keep me up-to-date... the flavors keep me from forgeting. And sometimes, when the rain falls outside, I can smell the scent of wet earth... And if someone cuts the grass outside, I smell the scent of the "lameiros"...
The heart, was broken.
The heart, thought it would mend,
Soon,
But didn't...
The heart, loved,
and lost...
The heart, can't bare anymore,
Sadness.
This heart, can't live without you.
I don't need much to make me happy... A cup of coffee, a ball, flip flops, the sun, the never ending ocean, the sand... and a happy group of friends... it so simple...
Sometimes, you look back, in the rear view mirror of your life, and everything looks foggy... It's as if rain has washed over it, and left smudges of ink all over your past...
I should probably pray... But I'm not even sure if anyone would hear... I just need the serenity of knowing that things will change... That happiness is possible, in an unhappy world.
Luke 8: 5"A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds of the air ate it up. 6Some fell on rock, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture. 7Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the plants. 8Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown"
This photo was taken in the Sanctuary of St. Caetano, in Chaves, Portugal. As you can see, plants are growing out of the rock... I have hope that even if I throw my words to the hardest people, they might someday listen...
There's nothing like an open road... and better yet, a place where to go...

Spring flowers
It's hard to walk by Spring flowers and not look in wonder... Even if you suffer from Spring allergies, you must take a look at the beauty that they bring every year... at least once. And if you really can't be near them, I leave you with these two photos I took this weekend.
